A client commissioned Barbara Benz and the architare team to furnish her city villa, which architect Alexander Brenner designed in the style of classical modernism. The colour concept took into account the lady of the house's favourite colour … pink and lilac tones, sometimes setting the tone at times loudly and on other occasions, quietly.
Classy in pink - with furniture by Walter Knoll, B&B Italia and Classicon
The favourite colour of the client is pink however the furnishing concept that architare designed for the modern city villa near Stuttgart is far removed from little-girl dreams and princess fantasies. The three-storey residential house is a design by Stuttgart architect Alexander Brenner, impressing with clear design language and its consistent continuity in the interior.
Barbara Benz and her team coordinated the interior with the architecture of the white villa, which, like all of Alexander Brenner's buildings is naturally inspired by classical modernism. The mix of elegant furniture by Walter Knoll, B & B Italia and Classicon, lights by Foscarini combined with high-quality carpets and textiles by Miinu and Sahco blends harmoniously into the open-plan layout with its clear design.
In the living room, the Ray sofa by B&B Italia takes centre stage. The Bao armchairs by Walter Knoll and the Bell Side Table and the Bell Coffee Table by Classicon in emerald green and amethyst violet add colourful and stylish accents to the warm nougat tone of the leather. A beautiful contrast to the cool glass and smooth leather is provided by the Evolution carpet by Miinu with its soft moving surface.
IN COMBINATION WITH ANTHRACITE AND DARK BROWN TONES, PINK DOES NOT LOOK SWEET AND GIRLY, BUT QUITE THE OPPOSITE: VERY CLASSY AND MODERN. (BARBARA BENZ)
