When it came to furnishing a three-bedroom flat in Berlin, architare was given carte blanche design freedom. Barbara Benz and her team had previously served the client with the furnishing of his villa at Wannsee and once again, architare delivered an overall concept. This time, the interior design professionals combined elegant furniture by Walter Knoll, B&B Italia, Schramm and Porro with spectacular wallpaper by Tecnografica and producing a custom-made kitchen that can be discreetly hidden behind folding wall panels.
“Carte Blanche” for the architare team
"It's great when a client puts their faith in us giving us a free hand in designing a property," says Katharina Schott, who works as a project manager at architare in Nagold. "On the other hand, we knew that our client had very high demands as we had previously implemented the complete furnishing concept for his villa at Wannsee.
This time, the client wanted a complete design for his 26-year-old son's apartment in Charlottenburg, starting with the kitchen and including the complete furnishing of the bedroom, living room and dining room, right down to the bed linen, glasses and crockery. "At the presentation, we showed our client two completely elaborated designs," Katharina Schott says, "With the living world in elegant, urban shades of grey, our team had hit his taste right away."
