If you are redesigning your bedroom,
this furniture are “must be included” pieces.

Turning the bedroom into an island of cosiness requires more than just a bed that is perfectly tailored to our needs and of course the little things, such as stylish bedside tables, an armchair or a rug should not be missing when planning a bedroom.

The right bed linen also has a major influence on our well-being and mood. architare carries the Luiz collection in its stores in Stuttgart and Nagold, among others. This luxury label from Cologne not only stands for the finest fabrics made from pure natural materials but on customer request, the elegant bed linen can also be made to measure and embroidered with plaids and decorative cushions from Luiz rounding off the colour harmonies.

architare Stuttgart and Nagold stock beds from the Schramm brand.
What features make a Schramm bed unique?

What is known today as a box-spring bed was developed by the Schramm manufacturers back in the 1950s and has been continuously perfected over the decades: The two-mattress system or the three-mattress system in the "Grand Cru" product line forms the centerpiece of the company. The customised beds and sleeping systems are still made by hand using traditional methods to this day.

How do architare customers find the right mattress for their bedroom?

The only way to find a mattress that is perfectly tailored to individual physical needs is to try it out. architare offers mattresses in different firmness levels at its Nagold location, where customers can test their requirements extensively there. They can also familiarise themselves with the intricacies and high quality of the Schramm range mattresses.

Planning luxurious bedrooms: wardrobe or walk-in dressing room?

Anyone planning their bedroom needs ideas for well thought-out storage space. Wardrobes are available to suit every room - in a wide variety of materials and colours with shelves, clothes rails, corner units, internal drawers, drawers and clothes lifts for perfect utilisation of the wardrobe interior.

Many architare customers also fulfill a long-cherished dream with a walk-in wardrobe. This does not necessarily require an extra room. Even seemingly dead, unusable corners can be converted into storage space. Space-saving sliding doors, behind which the wardrobe contents are concealed, are an ideal alternative. If a separate dressing room is not possible, the bedroom can also be divided, again with sliding doors or a screen.

Perfect lighting for the bedroom

In general the bedroom needs at least three light sources: Ceiling light, bedside lamps and wardrobe or mirror lighting. Anyone getting dressed in the bedroom in particular needs a sufficiently bright light to distinguish black from dark blue for example. Illuminated shelves also bring light into the darkness. You can also illuminate cleats, clothes rails and drawers in the wardrobe.

The most frequently asked questions and answers on the subject of bedroom planning stuttgart

DOES IT MATTER HOW THE FURNITURE IS POSITIONED IN THE BEDROOM?

The bed should be positioned against a wall and preferably in a quiet corner away from the door.
For most people, it feels best to have the door in view from the bed.

WHICH COLOURS ARE SUITABLE FOR BEDROOM PLANNING?

Which colours you choose for your bedroom is of course a matter of taste. Generally speaking, subtle, cool colours are recommended. As far as the walls are concerned the bedroom is also the perfect place for fabric coverings and wallpaper.

WHAT ELSE IS THERE TO CONSIDER WHEN BUYING A BED?

At architare in Stuttgart and Nagold, you can try out the bed extensively and find the mattress that best suits you and your sleeping habits and needs. We recommend that you come in the morning so that you are well rested. In the evening, your body is exhausted - so every bed can seem cosy and like a blessing when you test it.

WHICH CURTAINS ARE SUITABLE FOR THE BEDROOM?

The main purpose of curtains in the bedroom is to block out the light and provide good privacy. If you also want to darken your bedroom with curtains, line them with opaque coated fabrics. Depending on the situation and requirements, Roman blinds, pleated blinds or Venetian blinds are also suitable as privacy screens in the bedroom in addition to curtains. You can have curtains customised at architare. You can choose from fabrics from well-known textile manufacturers such as Dedar, Rubelli, Designers Guild or Zimmer & Rohde.
