Outdoor kitchens are having a boom, though none as spectacular as the new, modular Rock.Air, by STEININGER. Summer can come now!
Summer Kitchen
A good grill has long been a standard piece of equipment in most households. Yet it wasn’t enough for Martin Steininger, designer and director at Steininger. And so he designed a complete outdoor kitchen. One that offers “all the essential functions that one expects in the interior” says Steiner. And that looks chic as well. Cooking, cooling, rinsing– these elementary functions are divided into three archaic blocs in Rock.Air. Add to that three fireplaces that provide heat on cold days.
Their design as simple and unobtrusive as that of the kitchen block itself. Made from galvanised steel, they protect the monolithic cubes from wind and rain. When the great outdoor cook-out starts, the protective covers of each block moves backwards using a patented mechanism. Thus, you have a 90 cm high work space in front of you and a 110 cm high counter behind it.
