A house that feels like a home, of the highest quality. This is what the client wanted for his next residence. And so, only a few hand-picked pieces of furniture make up the decoration of this spectacular new development. What does a native-Swabian entrepreneur need to enjoy his rest in a retirement residence? A good architect and a good interior decorator carrying an assortment of a handful of excellent furniture manufacturers.
Residence

A clear case for the Benz family. Architect Hansulrich Benz realised a spectacular building with a lot of space for interior design and sister Barbara designed the new premises with select furniture – largely from the workshops of Walter Knoll – produced under the aegis of Markus Benz. And so it came to be that the clients are now the proud owners of the first completed brand-new Yutoo sofa from 2013.

The delicate Liz chairs are also featured in a private residence – and a spacious one at that – for the first time. Barbara Benz combined them with a minimalistic classic from Switzerland, the Tix table by Zoom. This ensures an unobstructed marvellous view of pool and garden. The couple's briefing was as concise as it was demanding – offering a high standard of living in decoration and architecture. This is now reflected in the rigorous forms of the building as well as in the clear colours and excellent furnishings.
