The designer and lighting designer Axel Meise founded the company Occhio in Munich at the end of the 1990s. Meise's idea was as simple as it was revolutionary: he developed a lighting system that was holistic in design and aesthetics. As a counterpoint to the“ wild proliferation” of design solutions that, in his opinion, characterized the lighting industry in the 1990s.
The designer lights from Occhio instead follow a clear line. This not only ensures a special timelessness, but also makes it possible to combine different models into a uniform lighting concept.

SMART OPERATION – Occhio lights score points with their technical features
With the Occhio “touchless control” the light can be dimmed, adjusted up and down or adjusted in height. Without a light switch or dimmer – a simple gesture is enough.
With the gesture control you can also decide which color temperature you want: warm light at 2,700 Kelvin for a relaxed evening with friends to stimulating, cool work light for the home office at 4,000 Kelvin.

WHAT LIGHTS ARE OCCHIO AVAILABLE TODAY ?
Indoor, outdoor, office: Today, Occhio serves all important product segments and offers a portfolio of ceiling, wall, pendant, table and floor lamps in different designs.
WHAT IS OCCHIO AIR ?
Occhio air is the Bluetooth-based lighting control from Occhio. This means you can control your lights individually or in groups individually or synchronously, or you can save your light scenes so that you can easily manage them touch again.
This is possible either via the Occhio air app or the Occhio air Controller.
The Occhio air Controller is mobile or can be magnetically attached to the wall.
WHAT DOES UP & DOWN FADING MEAN FOR AN OCCHIO LAMP ?
