The Tulip Chair is an iconic design by the Finnish-American designer Eero Saarinen in 1957. The chair was designed as part of a design commission for the manufacturer Knoll International and was intended to fulfill the desire for a chair without legs. Saarinen developed a unique design in which the chair rests on a single central support that ends in an elegant and organically shaped base. The seat is ergonomically designed and upholstered in fabric or leather, while the smooth surface of the base is available in various colors and finishes.
