The Panthella table lamp was designed by the Danish designer Verner Panton in 1971 and is a classic of Scandinavian design. The organic shape of the lamp is reminiscent of a mushroom shape and gives it a special aesthetic . The special feature about the Panthella is its shade construction, which spreads the light evenly in all directions, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The original Panthella was made of metal and plastic, but later an LED version was developed that has higher energy efficiency that lasts longer.
