Creativity and performance are at the basis of innovation and success. Barbara Benz and her architare team specifically promote these with custom-made interiors for the office and other properties – tailored to the client’s needs.
We can work it out
Whether a spontaneous meeting or a long-planned board meeting, it is vital that all participants feel comfortable. In our modern knowledge-based society, office buildings are increasingly developing into centres of communication and collaboration, and meeting rooms help shape the impression a company leaves with customers and partners.
Spontaneous, informal meetings
The right furniture at the right location sustainably supports the exchange between colleagues.
It is easier to talk about a pressing issue with someone when we spontaneously run into them than when we explicitly look them up. To promote encounters, we look at the traffic routes at the customer’s location. Where does communication take place? And where do people not communicate, even though they should? If we create an inviting atmosphere at exactly those spaces – offering a change to the usual workspace – we have already done a lot of good work. What starts as a break turns into direct communication, benefiting all parties involved!”

Conferences and large meetings
We begin the planning phase with a systematic analysis: How do people work? What meetings do they have? And what do the teams expect from the rooms that we will create. The technology needs to be perfect if 20 to 30 partners and colleagues come together for a large conference or supervisory board meeting: microphone systems, a USB connection at each seat, and of course video conferencing with optimal lighting are all parts of the basic equipment of a modern conference room. We equip virtually all conference desks with electrification before it leaves our building.

Meetings on the executive floor
In the board area, meetings usually take place in a small circle around the desk of the executive board. The trend is away from smaller conference tables and an additional seat group, everything takes place at the executive desk, and this desk is growing increasingly larger – up to 4 metres long. The Communication Desk by Walter Knoll – uniting work and meeting situations – is ideally suited for this. Everyone brings his or her own laptop or mobile devices along. By now, CEOs of larger corporations are already getting freedom in designing their desks – they are therefore increasingly becoming “unconventional”.

Creative meetings
A creative environment stimulates creative ideas
We therefore gladly offer unusual solutions to think tanks: a jungle of green plants, a playful ensemble of various poufs, armchairs, and room dividers, uniting sound insulation and bulletin board. Maybe I also need a “cyber space”, where I can work with all new medias, or even with an interactive desk board which I can draw on. We gladly ask our customers, “Why not do it differently?” A surprising meeting room is a good meeting room. And with small rooms, many people are willing to try out new things.
